SUNringlé representing the 2008 USA Olympic BMX Team.

As the newest sport in this summer’s Olympic Games, the sport of BMX racing will make history this August in Beijing China. After months of gathering points and qualifying positions, countries around the world are now finalizing the teams of racers who will represent them in this historic BMX race. SUNringle’ BMX is proud to sponsor the members of USA Olympic BMX Team that have been selected and qualified to race for gold in China. Free Agent Bicycles' Kyle Bennett, GT Bicycles' Mike Day, and one other racer to be announced on July 1st as a coach’s pick will make up the men’s squad. The US only qualified for one woman to compete in the event and that is GT Bicycles' Jill Kintner. All of these riders will be riding on the soon-to-be-released SUNringle’ Envy rims. SUNringle’ is also proud to support several other countries' riders in their race for the gold, including riders from Australia, France, Great Britain, Argentina, Columbia, Holland, and South Africa.

The Envy rims are the lightest, strongest, fastest 1.75 BMX race rims ever offered by SUNringle’. With a front and rear specific rim design, this 28.5mm wide, 395 gram rim is available in black, chrome, and powdercoat red, white, or blue.
